We are presently going to start building a covered coaching and practice area at our existing facilities at the Maggott Road just before the Lochloy Holiday Park.  We are hoping to have this completed by end of July.

After a public tender process the contract has been awarded to John A Jack Contracts Ltd and is due to start on Monday 3rd May.  We anticpate that it will take approximately 6 weeks to complete.  During the construction members will have to play from the other side of the burn where winter tee mats will be in operation.  Only irons can be used during this time.  We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but it will lead to a considerable benefit in giving  us a covered area for both practice and coaching.

The objects of this facility are to provide a better environment for coaching by our resident PGA Professional David Torrance who will be able to carry out all year round coaching with much less disruption due to the weather.

In addition it is hoped that this facility will be used by adults and children new to the game of golf. You do not have to be a member of the club to use the facility but you do have to book through the Professional’s shop due to Health & Safety requirements.
